It is possible to switch between multiple disguises throughout the level. 47's cover can be blown if suspicion gets too high, and the disguise will no longer be of any use. There are multiple ways to blend in more effectively. This plays in with the "suspicion" system a bar beside the health meter on the HUD represents how much suspicion 47 garners. 47 can find disguises or remove them from an incapacitated person in order to blend in with his surroundings, access restricted areas, to pass by security unnoticed (unless he's too close to them) and wield weapons almost freely, depending on the disguise. The game relies heavily on the disguise system. The intelligence is usually comprised of a picture of the target, sometimes video footage as well. The briefing is managed by 47's controller, Diana Burnwood, at the Agency. While it is a stealth title, the game does not necessarily enforce such an approach, allowing the player to engage at their own discretion, thus highlighting the sandbox element of the series.īefore any assignment, the player is provided with a briefing, consisting of intelligence on the target, a map detailing the area where 47 is to encounter the target, and a list of weapons that they can take on the mission. Some missions have assassination possibilities unique to the level. Instead of simply running and gunning through the mission, one can set traps, like poisoning a drink, to terminate the target in silence. However, how missions are completed is up to the player, and there are almost always a variety of ways to complete missions. Most levels require the assassination of one or more people. In the game, 47 is given a set of objectives to complete.

After what IO Interactive did with Hitman 2016, I’m already sold.Hitman 2:Silent Assassin is a third-person action/stealth combo revolving around a bald-headed assassin known as Agent 47, who works for the International Contract Agency (also known as "The Agency"), a conglomerate of professional assassins who provide their services to wealthy or otherwise influential customers. Honestly, I’m just ready to play the game. We’ll see if the leak was real or not when the game hits on November 13. I just found the leak interesting especially after seeing ‘Hippo’ lineup with Colombia. If we assume for a second the leak is real, then the last four locations are:
Maybe the leak is legitimate, or maybe it’s a hell of a coincidence. We also see disguises of both in official trailers from IO Interactive. There’s ‘Flamingo’ for Miami and ‘Hippo’ for Colombia. I know, I know a Reddit leak… But take a look at this image. A Reddit leak back in June also shows six locations. VG247 spoke to an IO Interactive rep back in July and confirmed there will be six locations at launch. Six locations at launch and a leak about the last four Just like the Colombia trailer, we see Agent 47 dressed as a Flamingo during the outfit montage at the end. I don’t want the entire mission spoiled for me.

You can find dozens of full mission walkthroughs, but I’ve been trying to avoid pretty much all the trailers outside of the location teasers. IO Interactive announced Hitman 2 back at E3, they showed off the Miami level with motorsport race serving as the backdrop. Remember that too it seems to verify a leak from a few months ago.
Sniper rifles, hammers, hell we even see what looks like Agent 47 disguised as a hippo (that last shot seems to show a hippo head and no body). And there’s the usual assortment of weapons to get the job done.
The Colombia mission tasks us with killing three Cartel leaders. Looks cool, but we also saw similar takedowns in the Miami trailer. I do hope there are more environmental ways to take out enemies than just well placed natural gas tanks though. That vegetation is “lush” enough to hide Agent 47 as he slinks around in a bright blue poncho. Located in the heart of a Colombian rainforest, Santa Fortuna poses a new threat for Agent 47 as he must work his way through the native village, intricate caves and ruins, cartel run coca fields and an intensely fortified mansion with armed guards around every corner. The video showcases Santa Fortuna’s exotic, hyper-detailed setting, featuring lush vegetation, unexpected hazards and unique kill opportunities for players to contend with. The folks working on Hitman 2 won’t keep the action confined to the village.
